EGYPTIAN FEARS

BOMB ATTACKS HAVE IMPERILLED TREATY (Rec. 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, July 19. Many Egyptians openly fear that the recurrence of bomb attacks against members of the British services will delay the signing, which they expected next week, of the AngloEgyptian Treaty, says Renter's Cairo correspondent. The British authorities are known to view seriously the fact that one was killed and 40 were injured in the four bomb-throwing incidents of the past eight days. The call by Lord Stansgate and Sir Ronald Campbell to protest to Sidky Pasha, accentuated the fears. Political quarters point . out that Sir Ronald Campbell, in normal diplomatic practice, would" have called alone. Sidky Pasha assured them that the authorities would spare no efforts to safeguard British lives and property.
