ETCHING BY DR A. H. KoLiNTOCK ACCEPTANCE BY ROYAL ACADEMY A distinction unique in art in New Zealand has been accorded Dr A- H. McLintoi'k, of Diinedin, who has received advice from London that his etching. ' Low Tide, Limehouse,' has been accepted for hanging in the Royal Academy's 1946 exhibition. ' Low Tide, Liinehonse.' was etched in Dunedin a year or two ago from sketches which the artist made in London before the war Examples of Dr McLintocks work have been shown in the exhibitions of the Otago Art Society during recent vears and have always engaged attention for their admirable execution and skilful detail.
