STOP PRESS
Dunedin roofs were crowded with people this afternoon when Squadron-leader R. M. McKay, in the Gloster Meteor jet propelled aircraft, spent nearly 20 minutes over the city doing breath-taking aerobatics and dives and spectacular inverted climbing. He proceeded to fly around the suburbs and then, in Air Force terms, lie subjected Dunedin to a real “ beat-up.”
