RESTRICTIONS IN ILLINOIS CHICAGO. May 1. The Illinois Commerce Commission has ordered a dim-out for virtually the whole State, effective from May 6, because of fuel shortages caused by coal strikes The use of electricity will be limited to 24 hours a week by stores and offices, and only between 2 and 6 p.m. on six days a week. Industrial users will receive no electricity on Saturdays or Sundays.
