TICKING CEASES
POSSIBLE FAULT IN LISTENING APPARATUS (Eec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, April ?5. While the Anzac Day wreath-laying at the Cenotaph went on under a slight drizzle, the bomb still ticked on 400vds away. However, later the bomb could no longer be heard. It is believed that water rising in the shaft put the listening apparatus out of action. Queen Mary had to move from the park side of her- house.
