MONTHLY CENTRE MEETING There was a good attendance of delegates at the monthly meeting of the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association held last night. The president, Mr C. W. Clark, was in the chair. Subject to the agreement of the South Canterbury Centre, the dates for the South Island junior cross-coun-try championship, and the Temuka road race were set down for August 24. _ • Permission was granted to the Dunedin West Queen Carnival Committee to hold amateur events at the Caledonian Ground on Easter Monday, and the programme for the meeting was approved. The following transfers were granted : —S. L. Jelley, from the Training College to the Mornington Club; P. H. Watt, from Mornington to Caversham. The winners of cups during the track season are as follows: Barton Relav Challenge Cup.—Celtic United Club. 27 points, 1; Leith, 15. 2; Civil Service and St. Kilda. 12 equal, 3.
