ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS A meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Football Association was held on Monday night, Mr J. Jeffrey being in the chair. The following committees were elected :—Match Committee—Messrs M. G. Mclnnes, W. Woodcock, and W. M. Smith ;. Transfer Committee, Messrs J. Hill and H. Fiddes; Finance Committee—Messrs Fiddes, W. E. Linton, and D. Cook; Grounds Committee — Messrs P. George, M. G. Mclnnes, and W. M. Smith. The appointment of delegates to the Otago Provincial Council of Sport was held over until the next meeting. A letter was received from the City Council confirming the committee's application for grounds. An application from the Dunedin waterside workers to form a club was received and approved. The Secretary reported that tentative arrangements had been made for an Otago team to play a Navy team in, the near future, and it was decided to ask members of last year's Otago team to be in readiness for this match.
