FUSION OF PARTIES
SOCIAL DEFEATS AND COMMUNISTS UNITE (Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, April 14. The Central Committee of the Social Democrats and the German Communist Party have jointly met and l formed a new Social Unity Party and elected two says Reuter's Berlin correspondent. The movo illustrates the determination of the parties to continua with the plan for the fusion of Germany's Russian zone and Berlin, despite the plebiscite in the western zones last month.
