GERMAN ASSETS FROZEN

COMPLIANCE WITH BRETTON WOODS (Rec. noon.) MADRID, April 14. The assets and administration of 330 German firms have been frozen by order under the Bretton Woods agreement, to which Spain is a signatory, The decision, taken in agreement with the Allied Control Commission, specifies that German interests must not change hands without authority from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among the companies effected are Siemens, Agfa and Osram, as well as several banks and insurance and shipping companies. •
