GRAVE CHARGES
TREATMENT OF YUGOSLAVS LONDON, April 13. The allegation that men in a Yugoslav camp in the British zone in Germany were beaten until they withdrew their wish to return to Yugoslavia was made by Dr Ales Bebler, the Yugoslavian Foreign Under-Secre-tary, at the United Nations Refugee Committee. He also alleged that Yugoslav former prisoners of war sympathetic to the National Liberation Army were in camps in Austria and Germany under the control of quisling officers of the Royal General Staff. Propaganda against the present regime in' Yugoslavia was carried on in these camps. One pamphlet Dr Bebler produced bore General Mikhailovich's photograph, and was headed, " Keep your arms in order to force the Yugoslav frontier and carry the flag of liberty."
