SECRET ARMAMENTS

LANCASTER PLANE IN AUSTRALIA MELBOURNE, April 14. Carrying some of Britain's latest and most secret armament and equipment the Lancaster aircraft Thor has reached Melbourne. The visit is to demonstrate to Empire air forces the latest in British scientific bomber aids. The plane will probably leave Melbourne on Wednesday for New Zealand, returning here eariy in May. Innovations include a radar-operated blindfirinij; tail turret which directs fire on an invisible _ attacking aircraft, and another device which, in complete darkness, throws on a screen a picture of the ground below.
