I DUTIES: I To assist in the recruitment of Household Staff employed in Wards, Nurses' Homes, Kitchens, and Laundry; to attend to the welfare of such staff, to organise and run a central personnel office, and generally to handle staff problems. EXPERIENCE: Nursing training or previous hospital work is not necessary; administrative experience, preferably in a large organisation, and an acquaintance with Labour Legislation, etc.. desirable. PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Good personality essential. The PERSONNEL OFFICER will require an ability to get on with people, human understanding, patience, and tact. Slhe must also possess good, intelligence and sound administrative ability, and she will be expected to show initiative and energy in assisting the hospital authorities to overcome their staffing difficulties.' SALARY: £450 per annum. The PERSONNEL OFFICER will rank as a senior officer, and be entrusted with, large responsibilities.
