The Weather Office advised at noon: An anti-cyclone centred east of the North Island covers New Zealand, and a depression to. the south-west is losing intensity. Forecast to 5 p. to.. Wednesday : Moderate northerly winds, changing south-westerly or southerly to-morrow; weather cloudy, with further coastal fog at first and intermittent drizzle or rain developing during to-night; temperatures cooler. Further outlook: Unsettled; occasional rain likely.
