Personnel for points south of Dunedin will complete their jounrey by motor transport. WATERFRONT STRIKE More than 30,000 tons of shipping was immobilised at Lyttelton to-day when the waterfront dispute which lias paralysed shipping activities, entered its fifth day. No work was done in port except the unloading of mails and horses from the inter-island steamer Rangatira, and the loading of the Port Waikato, which is due to sail ■with stores for Pitt Island, in the Chathams group.—Press Association
