\ BENBEGULA A POPULAR PICK DOUBLE CROSS IN SPRINT (Special.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 1. The Banks Peninsula Racing Club will hold its autumn meeting on its own course at Motukarara to-morrow. The fields are well filled, adn include several horses due to race at the Wellington meeting next week. Horses with two engagements include Whackie, Derene, Falconbridge. and Rampage. Whackie and Derene are to start in the Peninsula Handicap. Falconbridge will probably contest both his engagements, and Rampage is to start in the Ahuriri Hack Handicap.
