Altltough the New Zealanders combined better in the second spell the score went to 4-0 before they started to improve. They missed several scoring opportunities, and •should have drawn. Although the players had rested they were showing signs of staleness and travel weariness, having covered -7.000 m'iles to play their 16 matches.
