FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED

MINISTER INJURED IN*CAR ACCIDENT (Rec. 10.25 a.m.) BATAVIA, Feb. 12. Br Sjahrir's senior Minister, Sjarifoeddin, has been injured in a motor car accident in central Java. He was taken to hospital. Details have not yet been received, but suspicions of foul play have been expressed. Sjarifoeddin was en route to Batavia in response to an urgent summons from Dr Sjahrir. The Premier had sent a special messenger to Dr Soekarno with details of the Dutch offer and urgently requested the presence of Sjarifoeddin, who is noted for his moderation.
