NAZISM AND FASCISM IN EUROPE NO PLANS FOR CONTROL OR RE-EDUCATION (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent.) (Rgc. 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 12. A purge " to destroy the seeds of Nazism and Fascism sown for years under Axis influence " is urged in a statement issued by the International Committee, for the Study of European Questions. " No restrictions," says the report, " have yet been put on nearly 1,000 professors at work in more than 50 universities, whose job was to teach Nazi theories of race and blood, and the science of chemical warfare. Because of the shortage of prison space 20,000 Nazis, including S.S. men, are soon to be released, and no plans have been announced for the control and re-education of these men." The arrest of male war criminals, the report adds, is not enough to prevent the Nazi danger reappearing.
