Two students were killed and 20 wounded by a police volley fired into a crowd of demonstrators, at Alexandria to-day, says Reuter's Cairo correspondent. The police first fired into the air and then against the demonstrators. The police charged a crowd of university and secondary school students who carried on antiBritish demonstrations. A number of students were injured by batons. The students earlier telegraphed King Farouk, among other things for the withdrawal of Egyptian support for Britain in the U.N.O. discussion on Indonesia. Several .police were injured, The city is still out of bounds for [British and American servicemen.

It was stated later that six students were injured and 12 arrested during to-day's disturbances outside the university.
