ANOTHER CASE NOTIFIED

Still another positive case of infantile paralysis was notified to the Health Department this morning. This time the victim was a small girl, aged four years, from the Kaikorai district. The total of cases notified this year stands at 33. Six cases were notified in the whole of last year, but of these two were early in the year. That makes a total of 37 cases since late in November, when it may be presumed the epidemic started.
