BRITISH GOVERNMENT'S VIEWPOINT
CONCERTED ACTJON FAVOURED (Rec. noon.) LONDON, Feb. 11. The British Government had replied welcoming the French Government's proposal that Britain should join in diplomatic action to bring an end to the Fanco regime in Spain, said the Foreign Office Under-Secretary, Mr 1 Hector McNeil, in the House of Commons. The Government agreed that any action taken should be concerted between the French, British, and American Governments. They were in close touch with the subject through normal diplomatic channels.
