GO-OPERATION IN CANADA (New Zealand Official News Service.) (Rec. 8 a.m.) OTTAWA, Feb. 11. In connection with the commemoration of the signing of the Treaty of Waitaugi the New Zealand High Commissioner in Ottawa has obtained wids Canadian interest in New Zealand as a result of excellent co-operation on the part of the Canadian Press, radio, and information service. Calls were made by the heads of the missions, and receptions held at the official residence last Tuesday and Wednesday were attended by many distinguished citizens, including the Prime Minister of Canada, members of Cabinet and the diplomatic corps, leading citizens, and resident New Zealanders. The Canadian Broadcasting Commission broadcast Maori music. Newspapers published accounts of the signing or the Treaty of Waitangi, >and much interest was aroused in a special exhibition of McCormack paintings at the National Gallery.
