FiRLSRAXK, February 12.—A cyclonic Rale, accompanied by heavy rain, devastated the Townsville district, causing damage estimated at £50,01)0. The township of Ayr is isolated by road and rail, with food stocks sufficient*, for two days only, and the weir containing Townsville’s water supply has burst. inches of rain fell in the Reid River area.
