—Air Passengers.— Passengers for the south on Saturday were:—Mr J. Ramsay, Mrs' J. Ramsay, Mr J. A. Wishart, Mr and Mrs A. Gray, Mr F. Warner, Mrs P. Warner, Mr A. Walmsley, Mr W. Heaps, Mr G. Corlett. Passengers for the north to-day were:—Mr H. C. Harford (for Christchurch), Mrs S. Dawson, Mr S, Inwoodi, Mr S. D. McPherson (for Wellington), Mr A. N. Hendy, Miss M. Ellis (for Blenheim), Mr C. J. Maddren, Mrs C. J. Maddreh, Dr J. Dawson, Dr C. C. Anderson (for Auckland). Sir Michael and Lady Myers left for Christchurch by this morning'g express. Mr A. L. S. Cassie left by this morning's express for Wellington. Mr S. C. Sutherland, Dunedin manager of Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. Ltd., and a director of the firm, arrived hack in Dunedin yesterday after a 12 months' business trip abroad. M. A. J. M. de la Tribouille, the former delegate of Fighting France, left Wellington on Saturday afternoon by the Dominion Monarch. He was accompanied by his wife and two-year-old daughter. M. Tribouille is to take up an important position in London as head of the information division of the French Colonial Office. Mr and Mrs T. Geary t Waimea Avenue, have received advice that their son, Flying-officer T. F. ,C. Geary, is returning to New Zealand on the Stirling Castle. The Mayor (Mr D. C. Cameron ha 3 arranged for a civic reception to the Right Rev. J. L. Wilson, (Bishop of Singapore, and Mrs Wilson, in the Council Chamber, Municipal Chambers, on Thursday next at 11 a.m. Bishop Fitchett and the president of the Dunedin' R-eturned Services Association will be associated with His Worship in this welcome. An announcement was.made yesterday by the Acting Prime Minister, Mr W. Nash, that an invitation had! been extended by the Government to Admiral Lord Louis Mountbatten and Lady Mountbatten to visit New Zealand. The details of the visit, which will he of short duration, have not been settled yet (states a Wellington Press Association message). but it is expected that they will arrive in New Zealand about April 1. Details of the irisit will be settled after discussion with Commander "Pitts, R.N., staff officer to Admiral Mountbatten, who is expected to arrive in New Zealand to-morrow.
