SCOTTISH SOCIETY

The monthly social and dance of the Scottish Society was held in the Crawford Lounge on Saturday, a good attendance of members being present. The president, Mr J. T. Ramsay, occupied the chair, and extended a welcome to those present. The vice-president, Mr W. P. Smith, also welcomed the members, and moved a vote of thanks to the artists who contributed to a successful evening. Items were given by Miss K. Stewart (recitation), Mr W. H. Fyfe (songs), waltz clog by the Misses Shirley Smith and Daphne Baxter, the piper being Mr J. McVean. Supper was served by the Ladies' Social Committee under Mrs W. Hall. The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. ,
