TO BE TRIED FOR " THREATENING THE GOVERNMENT "

(Rec. 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 25. Colonel George Grivas, the Greek Royalist leader of the " X Organisation," will be tried for "threatening the Government," says Reuters Athens" correspondent. The charge is based on a memorandum which he sent to M. Sofoulis just before the.disturbances at Kalamata, in which he stated if the Government was unable to protect citizens against Communist terrorism, the X Organisation would be compelled to protect themselves.
