(Rec. 8 a.m.) MANILA, Jan. 25. The Philippines Supreme Court by a five to three decision denied General Homma a writ of habeas corpus and a writ for prohibition which, in effect, would halt the trial, upon which Homma's counsel announced that an appeal would be made to the United States Supreme Court for a writ of certiorari—the same action as in the case of Yamashita, the decision on which is expected on January 28.
