ARRIVING TO-NIGHT

DOMINION MONARCH DRAFT A revision of the arrangements for the reception of the Otago and Southland drafts of servicemen returning by the Dominion Monarch has been necessitated by the delayed arrival of the vessel at Wellington. The special troop train was scheduled to leave Lyttelton at 10.20 this morning and reach Dunedin at 7.40 p.m. carrying 140 men for-" Dunedin and Central Otago and 180 for destinations south of Dunedin. , The time-table is now as follows: Depart Lyttelton 10.20 a.m.; arrive Oamaru 4.9 p.m.; depart Oamaru 4.30 p.m.; arrive Palmerston > 5.51 p.m.; depart Palmerston 6.1 p.m.; arrive Port Chalmers 7.20 p.m.; arrive Dunedin 7,40 p.m.; depart Dunedin 8 p.m.; arrive Mosgiel 8.20 p.m.; arrive Milton 9.3. p.m.; Balclutha 9.47 p.m.; Gore 11.18 p.m.; Invercargill 0.30 a.m. on Friday., Next-of-kin of Dunedin men will be admitted to the main platform by way of- the doors to the ticket office, on production of the official passes. Central Otago next-of-kin will be directed to wait near the RT.O.'s office at the northern end of the'main platform. For relatives of men travelling further south by the troop train, an enclosure will be provided at the northern end of the main platform, with entrance through the large iron fates at the north end of the station, he Southland troops will be accom r modated in the five cars, at the rear of the train, which will be stopped with these cars handy to the enclosure. The Otago ' Provincial IPatriotic Society will provide light refreshments for those travelling south while the train is at Dunedin, and these will ba served by members of the Red Cross Society. Transport to homes will be in accordance ' with the usual arrangement. Cars under the control of the chief traffic inspector, Mr E. H. Barrett, will be available to personnel as they leave the station., The progress of the train will be announced from 4YA.
