Strand.—A laughter-filled vehicle, ‘ Here Comes Elmer,’ associated with a murder mystery, ‘ Dangerous Passage.’ Grand.—Laurel and Hardy in an extended season of ‘ The Big Noise,’ together with five cartoons which will be screened at matinees. St, .James.—The talented players, George Brent and Brenda Marshall, in ‘You Can’t Escape For Ever.’ Octagon.—The'latest Grade Fields film, ‘ Molly and Me,’ which also features 'Monty Woolley and Koddy McDowall. Mayfair.—Bette Davis, Olivia de Havilland, and George Brent are featured ‘ In This Our Life,’ while the supporting film, 1 The Meanest Man in the World,’ stars Jack Benny, Priscilla Lane, and Edmund Gwenn.
