EXHIBITION MATCH (P.A.) INVERCAEGILL, Dec. 30. Two brothers in the first flight of New Zealand golfers played a 36-hole exhibition match at Queen’s Park yesterday. They were B. J. Smith (Invercargill), a professional, and P. G. F, Smith (Auckland), a former amateur champion of New Zealand. With a brilliant 70 on a heavy course in the morning, B. Smith' went to lunch 6 up. P. Smith played better in the afternoon, but could not bridge the gap, and was beaten, 4 and 3. The umpire was their father, Mr B. J. Smith, sen. (Auckland).
