The appointment of Mr Edwin Sincoek to be a member of the Otago Land! Sales Committee, in place of Mr R. Walls, M.P. (resigned), and of Mr W. M. Taylor to be the deputy of Mr Sincock, is announced in the ' Gazette.' On the occasion of her leaving the Money Order and Savings Bank branch of the Dunedin Post Office after over .three years' service during the war period, Miss Betty Wilson was met by the members of the staff and presented with an occasional table. In handing the gift to Miss Wilson, the accountant (Mr J. B. Stanley) expressed the good wishes of the members of the staff for her future happiness, and thanked! her for her services during the war period. Staying at the Grand Hotel are Miss S.
