POPE'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO AMERICA
NEW YORK, December 27. His Holiness the Pope, writing a Christmas message to ' Collier's Magazine,' says: " Into the hands of the Americans God has placed the destinies of afflicted humanity. The American people have a genius for splendid and unselfish action. They must increase the flame of brotherly love. War has caused the greatest and most tragic migrations of people in all history and this is the gravest obstacle to unity."
