CAMP GUARD SENTENCED

AIRMAN BEATEN TO DEATH YOKOHAMA, December 27. A prison camp guard, Tatsuo Tsuchiya, was found guilty of killing an American prisoner and sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour. The United States War Crimes Commission found that Tsuchiya, together with other Japanese, beat to death Private Robert Teas, a survivor of the Bataan “ death march.”
