BRITISH ADMINISTRATION CHALLENGED CHARGES BY YUGOSLAVS (Rec 9 a.m.) BELGRADE, Dec 29. Tanjig, the Yugoslav News Agency, alleges that, the British Military Government in the Julian province (ItalyYugoslav border region). has dismissed all the People’s Liberation committees and appointed in their places mayors and secretaries mostly from Fascists and civil servants. Tanjig adds that members of the Liberation Committees are still helping people bv issuing war damage certificates, drawing up applications to the authorities, etc., but the Allied occupation authorities are impeding their efforts and have threatened some members with arrest if they continue the work.
