SEAFIRE WINS HACK GUP TIDELESS IN SPRINT The second day of the Taranaki Jockey Club’s meeting was held in showery weather. The track was in good order at the start, but deteriorated later. The attendance was good, and the totalisator handled £41,164 10s, compared with £21,369 on the last day of the two-day meeting in 1941. Thetotal for the meeting was £87,340 10s, compared with £40,043 10s in 1941.
