DEVALUATION APPROVED
NEW RATE A SECRET (Rec. 1 p.m.) LONDON, December 23. The French Cabinet to-day voted to devaluate the franc, says the Associated Press Paris correspondent. This was revealed by several Ministers after a four-hour Cabinet meeting. The Ministers said they were sworn to secrecy regarding the exact new rate of exchange.
