SPANISH REPUBLICAN GOVERNMENT
PRIME MINISTER TO VISIT FRANCE
LONDON, December 23. Paris radio reports that the Prime Minister of the Spanish “ Shadow ” Republican Government, Dr Jose Giral, has applied to the French Consul in Mexico for a visa to visit France. He told the Consul that as France still recognised General Franco, : he was going to France not as the head of the Republican Government but privately.
