COAL NATIONALISATION
BILL BEFORE COMMONS (Rec. 12.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 19. Amid cheers from Labour members Mr Ernest Shinwell introduced in the House of Commons the Coal Industry Nationalisation Bill which seeks to establish public ownership and control of coalmining and certain allied activities. The Bill was read for the first time.
