GRANTS FROM NATION TIME FOR REVISION (Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 6. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Hugh Dalton, told the House of Commons that the total sum paid to the descendants of Lord Nelson since 1806 was £700,000. " I think it is high time the present arrangement was reconsidered," lie said, " and I propose to take up the matter with the present Lord Nelson." fLord Horatio Nelson had no children by his_ wife. In November, 1805, in recognition of Nelson's great services to his country, his brother William (who died in 1835) was created Earl Nelson of Trafalgar, an annuity of £5,000 being attached to the title.]
