MOVEMENTS OF VESSELS. —Coastal.— Storm proceeded to Port Chalmers this morning to dock for annual overhaul and survey. ' Miro, en route from Auckland to Dunedin via ports, encountered heavy weather on the coast and sheltered at Akaroa. She is now due here on Thursday.. Waimarino is due from Auckland direct to-morrow. On completion of her discharge she will proceed to Bluff. Karetu is due from Oamaru to-morrow to load for Auckland. •Breeze is due from Bluff on Thursday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. Holmglen is due from Wellington on Thursday. She will load for Wellington and New Plymouth via Timaru, and sail on Friday. Holmdale is to sail to-morrow for Wellington and Wanganui. Wainui is to sail on Friday for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne via ports. -Trans-Tasman.— Kaikorai is' to clear Lyttelton to-morrow® for Timaru and Dunedin with cargo from Sydney. She is due .on Friday to discharge and load for Sydney via Bluff and Lyttel-' ton.

Waitaki is to clear Bluff on Monday for Melbourne to load for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington.

—Overseas.— British Restraint proceeded to sea this morning in order to “ gas free ” ter tanks before docking. She will return to Port Chalmers on Thursday. • Glenogle is' discharging cargo loaded at Calcutta and Colombo at Auckland. She will later continue discharge at Wellington, Lytteton, and Dunedin. Acadia (H. L. Tapley and Co. Ltd.) arrived at Lyttelton yesterday to discharge phosphate from Makatea. She will complete discharge at Ravensbourne and Dunedin about Thursday. Tyndareus (Dalgety and Co. Ltd.), a Blue Funnel liner, is to clear Liverpool on ■ October 27 for New Zealand via the Cape of Good Hope and Durban. She i* due at Auckland on December'l3, to land passengers and cargo, and will later proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port ' Chalmers. ■ ■ ■ : ■ British Genius (Shell .Oil Company Ltd.) is due on December 10 with a cargo of bulk Diesel oil. ; Antar (N.Z. Shipping Company _ Ltd.), which is at present part loading in Australia, is scheduled to arrive at Port Chalmers on October 29, to load a large cargo of wool for the United Kingdom. Kenneth McKay (H.
