OTAGO MEN BY ANDES

ARMY', HAVY, ARB AIR FORCE Otago members of tlie draft due to disambark from tlie transport Andes at Lyttelton to-morrow morning are expected to reach, Dunedin by special train, which is scheduled to arrive here at 7.2 to-morrow evening. . The running schedule of the train .is to be broadcast at intervals by Station 4YA. All three services, with Air Force personnel mostly represented, compose the big draft arriving from England by the Andes. There are 31 Army personnel for Dunedin, three for Central Otago, and 23 for destinations south of the city. There will be 81 Air Force personnel for Dunedin, 17 for Central Otago, and 69 for southern destinations ; also a party of naval personnel, of whom about 20 are expected at Dunedin. The men returning by the transport fall into several categories, including sick and wounded, repatriated prisoners of'war, and duty personnel. Th'e usual arrangements for the reception of the men reaching Dunedin to-morrow evening have been made by the military and civic authorities. Transport of the men and their next of kin to their homes will be provided by the (Red Cross transport section and the local E.P.S. organisation, and all traffic at tho railway station at the time of the arrival of the draft will bo under the control of the chief traffic inspector (Mr ,E. H. Barrett). The train will remain at Dunedin for approximately 20 minutes, and during this time light refreshments will be served on the platform by the Eed Cross to personnel travelling to southern destinations.
