SENTENCED TO DEATH
FIRST OF SINGAPORE TERRORISTS SINGAPORE, October 20. The Superior Court sentenced to death the first of Singapore’s terrorists, who had been carrying on a campaign of murder, abduction, and torture under the guise of purging the city of collaborators, says Reuter’s correspondent. He is a Chinese, who was found guilty of murdering another Chinese who was alleged to have caused him to be beaten by the Japanese. Another man, stated to be the leader of a terrorist gang, was sentenced to <t() months’ imprisonment.
