LABOUR BREAKING UP COALITION (IRec. 10 a.m.) PRETORIA, Oct. 19. ' It is announced that the Labour Party will withdraw at the end of' October from the Smuts Coalition Government. The Labour Party, which holds 10 seats in the House of Assembly, joined the coalition at the outbreak of the war with Field-Marshal Smuts's. United Party, and Mr Colone Stallars's Dominion Party. Labour's withdrawal from ■ the Coalition will leave the Government with a majority of at least 40 seats over the Opposition —BB United Party and seven Dominion Party against 45 Nationalists and 10 Labour. . •
