Her transfer to Yokohama places her in ~.0 category of a foreign citizen, and she will probably be tried by the Government under which she was born.
A fortnight ago all the Japanese war criminals were moved out of Yokohama and lodged in Amori concentration camp. Those remaining in Yokohama include Jose Laurel, puppet presidentof the Philippines, and representatives of Siam and other nonJapanese countries who are considered to be sufficiently important collaborators to face trial.
[" Tokio Rose " broadcast propaganda regularly to the Allied troops in the Pacific and many attempts to guess her identity were made. The information she gave was usually remarkably accurate, but her value as a propagandist diminished until her broadcasts had " entertainment value " only, and were actually rebroadcast in America as a commercial feature.]
