CONTROL OF MANCHURIA

CHINESE TAKE OVER IN DECEMBER CHUNGKING, October 18. The Foreign Minister, Mr Wang Shih-chieh, announced that Manchuria would come . under complete Chinese control on December 1, when the last Russian occupation troops were scheduled to withdraw. He also announced that Chinese troops at present in Northern Indo-China would soon return to China.

Mr Wang said that recent incidents in Siam, in which a great number of Chinese nationals were killed or wounded as a result of Siamese police action, were causing general indignation among the Chinese public, and the Chinese Government was sending a diplomatic representative to Bangkok to improve relations with Siam.
