The interrogation of the leading
accused and high-ranking Wehrmacht officers went on every day. Thousands of original documents, including orders and other incriminating papers signed by Hitler and Himmler, -were being collected, translated, copied, and filed. The range of the trials would be enormous. The indictment consisted of 43 folio printed! pages, and covered the whole Nazi period of aggression, ■atrocity, fraud, treachery, and terrorism.
