NO CANADIAN OCCUPATION FORGE
OTTAWA, August 30. Mr Mackenzie King announced the disbanding of the Pacific Army and Air Force. He said there would be no Canadians in the occupation army in Japan, but one or two units of the Canadian Navy would continue to operate in Far Eastern waters.
