REVELATIONS!

REYHAUD AND CIANO DIARIES EXCLUSIVE FEATURES FOR ‘ STAR 1 READERS To-morrow evening the ‘ Star * will publish the first instalment of a highly sensational and illuminating historical document, of which it has secured the sole provincial rights. This is the record, written in Vichy and German prisons, of M. Faul Reynaud, Premier of France in the fateful summer of 1940. It is a frank exposure of the reasons and factors governing the fall of France, and makes intelligible some of the' strangest events of history.

Chapters of these memoirs will.be published alternately with extracts from the diaries of Count Ciano, son-in-law of Mussolini, and Fascist Italy’s Foreign Minister, relating the intrigues and tortuous diplomacy that preceded the World War, these diaries continuing right up to a few hours before their writer’s execution. These documents present a very revealing picture, including many new disclosures.

Publication of Reynaud’s memoirs will be (so far as is possible) giySn on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the Italian documents, sensational and ugly in their reve-. lations, every Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday, commencing next Saturday, August 25.
