PIPING AND DANCING
SUCCESSFUL YEAR The Otago Centre of the Piping and Dancing Association of New Zealand held its thirty-fourth annual meeting on Tuesday last. The president (Air T. Stuart) was in the chair, and there was a large attendance of mehibers. The adoption of the annual report was moved by the Chairman, who remarked that it was evident that the activities of the centre during the past year had been appreciated by competitors and the public alike. The entries in the usual small competitions held every two months had grown considerably, over 350 having been received on one occasion. At the many gatherings held in the district particular emphasis had been laid on the encouragement of novice dancers.
