U.S. AIRMEN KILLED
LIBERATOR CRASHES NEAR BERNE BERNE, August 18. Three American airmen were killed and three severely injured when a Liberator crashed near Berne. Tt was one of several, bombers bringing’in technicians to overhaul the American planes which were forced to land in Switzerland during the war. The Government has now consented' to the Americans removing all such planes.
